Letter jeem - حرف الجيم

Our guest for today is letter Jeem......ج

You remember that last time we revised together the first bunch of first 4 letters in Arabic alphabet.

Letter Jeem is a very easy one......

Let's pick together some new words ........start with letter Jeem.

  

Al jadd=  الجد =   the grand father

Al jaddah = الجدة = the grand mother

jazar = جزر = carrot

jobn = جبن  =  cheese

boy's name = جلال = Jalal

girl's name = جميلة = Jameelah

I would like here to spot the light on how letter Jeem shows at the beginning of the word.

 How about letter jeem in the middle and at the end of a word..??.......

     تاج = crown = Taj 

أمواج = Amwaj = waves

سراج = siraj = lantern

فجر = fajr = dawn

نجم  = najm = star

Remember that the equivalent of  the word THE in Arabic is to add extra two letters attached to the word you need to define......ال

Letter Alef .........+ Letter Lam.

  As in  :             الجد  -    الجدة 

ال ...جد   - ال.....جدة

Also as I mentioned in one of my previous posts ..............in order to feminize many words in Arabic you can Simply add  letter ( taa marboutah )  which shows in Arabic as :  ة

But it is not an absolute rule as many other words has another form in feminine version.
